I was born in Decatur, Georgia and lived there until I was 12, when we moved to Social Circle and I began attending George Walton Academy. Education was my focus early on, and I sought challenge by attending summer school two years to move up a grade, skipping my 11th grade year and graduating high school at 16. I immediately moved back to Decatur and lived with my grandparents while attending Georgia State University on a full academic scholarship. I originally majored in Actuarial Science, but after getting a job as receptionist at the RE/MAX office where my grandmother was a successful real estate agent, I decided that real estate was my calling. Soon I moved on to work full time as a real estate assistant while still attending GSU in the evenings. In 1994, I was licensed by the Georgia Real Estate Commission as a salesperson, but remained a licensed assistant for 11 years.

I continued pursuing my degree at night, and in 1998 graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a B.B.A. in — you guessed it — Real Estate! In 1999, I attended training to become a Certified New Home Specialist, as I was working in new construction developments under a successful real estate agent.

In 2005, the timing was right for me to build on my years of experience and launch my own career in this exciting and ever-changing field! Every day I am thankful for the opportunity to help first-time buyers realize their dreams of home ownership, and serve the experienced homeowners who decide it’s time for a different home or a different area. Whatever your real estate goals, I look forward to helping you make them a reality!
